LEAD GUITAR & VOCALS.

On the back on several national television appearances on RTE

and BBC television in late 1998/early 1999 the band recorded a

4 track EP and booked a tour of New York venues for late 1999.

In 2000, the band were invited to perform  at the In The City Music

Industry Conference in Manchester as a part of the Hot Press Irish

showcase where the band caught the attention of producers

Brian Eno and Kim Fowley.

KEYBOARDS & PROGRAMMING.

Originally forming under the name Blue Monday in the mid-1990's,

brothers Stewart and David Quinn wrote, performed and recorded

their own music. Following the recording of their first demo the

band began to earn a reputation as a dynamic and formidable act

on the live circuit in 1997 playing venues like the Baggot Inn,

Eamon Doran's and Whelan's in publications such as Hot Press,

Evening Herald and The Irish Mirror.

The result of which was the band recording a 4 track session for the Dave Fanning Show on RTE 2FM. They began to receive

regular airplay on the National broadcaster. The band continued

honing and developing their live show in colleges and venues

around the country.

DRUMS, PERCUSSION & VOCALS.

2001 saw the band release their song "Perfect World" as a single

which gained widespread national and regional airplay during the

summer of that year. In September of 2001, Robert Quinn joined

his brothers and the band began the change over to the name

Transmitter to represent the change of personnel and make a

fresh start.

BASS GUITAR & VOCALS.

The next 3 years were marked by the band's first full nationwide

tour in support of their album "Empty Train" and single "Hold On"

which made the Irish charts and garnered huge radio play, a

Today FM session, their first tour of London and a slot on the bill

at the 02 In The Park Festival to a crowd of over 100,000.

All of this was done independently and self financed.

our

commitment.

Following the success achieved in recent years, the band committed to investing in the future with the purchase of a state

of the art mixing console, top of the

line drum kit and amplification and new lighting production.

The band commits itself to the highest quality performance levels with equipment designed to work "out of the box". Using

top brands such as Roland, Fender, HiWatt, Ashdown, Boss, Apple, Yamaha, Dynacord and Ableton the band can set up, save their settings to hard drive, and instantly recall them upon their return to that venue at any future date.

This adds a particular advantage to the band for weddings, residencies, or events where set up time and space is of huge consideration.
