Last weekend saw us take to the stage in two of our favourite venues. On Friday night, we created an almighty noise in Kavanagh's Courtyard Venue in Portlaoise for a gig of epic proportions clocking in at over two hours and forty minutes. We ticked all the musical genre boxes from 80s goth anthems to metal standards, and from Gen X to Gen Alpha (we ain't afraid of new music). The crowd lapped it up with calls for even more at a quarter to one in the morning. That's what gigs are meant to look like, folks. That's what we mean when we say: it doesn't work without you. We'll be back for a family friendly gig after the parade on St. Patrick's Day.

Saturday in the Bridge House Bar, Tullamore, while not being anywhere near a sedate affair, was a little more relaxed and had us ducking and diving between 90s rockers and what we call modern Irish folk songs. You know the ones............. the songs that everyone knows but that haven't been done to death, yet. The venue was heaving by the halfway point at which stage we were cooking, with loads of the juicy tunes still waiting to be tossed on the pan. By night's end things were boiling over as the venue was jumping in unison to our final song. Given that we haven't played in Tullamore for over a year, we'd call that a pretty decent return.

Busy month ahead for March. We look forward to catching up with you on the road.

The lads.
